Description: This sincerely Dorothy poster clearly establish an idea of the twist that was made on this particular show. The original Wizard of Oz story was based on the main character Dorothy mysteriously went into the land of Oz, and met her friends, Tin-man, Cowardly lion, and Scarecrow, and they went on a trip to find what they want including Dorothy wanting to go home.
With the twist, the story was told backwards. It starts off with Dorothy writing a letter back to the land of Oz after she got back to her house. So the idea of this poster is based on the letter that Dorothy wrote back to the land of Oz, to her friends. The blue portion of the poster shows a piece of paper which represents the letter paper that Dorothy was using to write the letter, and the black part represents the space behind, and this shows the idea of the twisted Wizard of Oz with the piece of letter paper indicating the very opening of the show, when Dorothy is writing the letter back to Oz. |
